Chicago has always been known as having a wonderful tradition of athletic pride and accomplishment. Each sport has had an unbelieveable amount of success over the years, along with amazing fans to cheer them on! All of the fans in Chicago are as loyal as a dog to its owner, filling every seat at home games, packing sports bars full during games, and even traveling the distance to get to the event. The success spreads to all of the sports, with the Bulls incredible six world championships in a row or the Bears Super Bowl victory in 1985 or the Blackhawks appearances in the Stanley Cup playoffs. Every Cubs game is packed to its fullest, with people lined up outside hoping for a ball to fly over the ivy wall. Chicago teams are full of well-known athletes who are loved by all Chicago fans. Chicago: The Windy City

One of the most amazing things about the City of Chicago is the change of seasons that occur. One minute, it is a sunny, warm day in the fall, with bright, colorful leaves slowly hitting the ground; then suddenly the temperature drops and snow begins falling out of the sky. The city never looks more amazing than when it is snow covered, with the beautiful white snow atop the huge buildings. The christmas lights glisten all down Michigan Avenue, as light flurrys fall to the ground. It is a great scene! Once winter turns into Spring, there is never more activity and action taking place all around the city. The temperature warms up and the lake then becomes occupied with thousands of people enjoying the great Lake Michigan. Spring then turns into summer. While driving down Lake Shore Drive, groups of people play beach volleyball, people ride bikes and rollerblade down the large path bordering the lakefront, large pick up games of soccer and football take place in the large grassed fields, and women and men boh enjoy the heat of the sun on their backs, while sunbathing on the glorious white sand. The change of seasons makes it so much fun and enjoyable in the city. There is always so much to do during all times of the year!

Chicago: An Amazing Place

I must say that Chicago is an amazing place and I am definately not the only one who feels this way! The city lies in a great location, with one of the wonderful Great Lakes, Lake Michigan as a border to the east. Chicago offers only the best and finest in resaurants , museums, shopping, entertainment, athletic teams, night life, and eveything else a person could ask for! It seems hard to believe that Chicago is not the capital of the state of Illinois! It is a city full of adventure, with an great variety of diversity, ethnicities, and cultures. What more could you ask for!?
